Praise

This book broke me open and stitched me back together with gold. If you’ve ever felt like an outsider, if you’ve ever been told you’re too much or not enough, Raza’s story will feel like it was written just for you. And that final message lingers like a heartbeat: "It’s not the color of your coat that matters. It’s the color of your character."

A must read for the World. If only everyone could find this truth! Having the main character have faults and a struggle to face the reality of his place in the world makes him and his story more relatable to humanity.

This book tackles current issues surrounding technology, privacy, and the darker side of viral fame, making it a timely and thought-provoking read. I found Kassidy’s character to be both strong and vulnerable, and Fowler does an excellent job portraying the emotional cost of living in a world where even the most personal details can be weaponized.

Social Media and AI algorithms are the worst, I doubt anyone would disagree. This is a really nice play on those themes, part cyber-thriller, part "who-has-done-this", part detective story. It follows the enigmatic Kassidy as her life is turned upside down after she exploits an AI algorithm to attain social media status. Then begin the deaths... With the help of a noir-style underspoken detective, Thas, she fights to unravel the mystery before it takes her as well. Full of twists and turns, and keeps you guessing till the end. And perhaps the beginning of a series?

What a title. What a story! Intriguing until the very end!
Love, love, loved that final chapter! If you’re a reader of Fowler’s work, you’ll know what I mean! I feel like she did that just for ME!
Enjoy………

I am so glad I finally got around to reading this mind-bender. It's been a few months since I picked up this title, loved the gorgeous cover btw. As I was saying, life got in the way and could come around to finishing this book and finally, I decided to do nothing else than to finish this title in a single read and boy is this worth it. It stays current and relatable. The fleeting social media fame and every skeleton that comes in that closet is laid bare. Elisabeth Fowler has found another true fan in me. Pick this up to finish it over a weekend, thank me later.

This book kept me on my toes from start to finish! The action scenes were intense, and I liked how it mixed in faith without being preachy.

This was an excellent and unique series! I really enjoyed all 3 books very much. I appreciated the spirituality contained in the books. I also found the story to be very emotional, and very exciting, tense, and nerve-racking. Great characters and good story-line.

This is awell written uoung adult novel set in a dystopiam setting. I enjoy books that show the light of Abrahamic religions. Especially if they're as good as this.

I never imagined a story such as this with faith and being hunted by the government no less for believing in a higher power. I must read Books 2 and 3 now. This was totally unexpected but fun, suspenseful, dark, scary and up and down rollercoaster of emotions. I highly recommend this book for all and would love to see this put on a movie or made into a series because it was that good.

I really enjoy this book, although it wasn't what I thought it was going to be and it surprised me in a very good way. The plot is interesting, and I like how the author works with faith and dystopian concepts. The characters are interesting and well develop and the series is a great beginning of a promising trilogy.

The characters are well-developed, each carrying the weight of their circumstances with resilience and strength. The author masterfully balances the raw realities of the dystopian setting with moments of redemption, making for a compelling and emotionally charged read.

If you're a fan of dystopian fiction with a strong thematic focus on faith, courage, and survival, "Sanctuary" is a must-read. The novel offers a unique perspective on the intersection of belief and societal oppression, delivering a thrilling and unforgettable experience that will leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment in The Chosen Trilogy.

"Survival House" is an intriguing debut murder mystery that explores family ties and a detective's unrelenting pursuit of a murderer. The story revolves around Nicole, the protagonist, who becomes the prime suspect after a tragic family death. The plot takes place against the backdrop of a mysterious house fire, unraveling through the disturbing perspectives of each family member. What makes the book stand out is its unique narrative style, which presents the story from the viewpoint of each family member before their fate is sealed. It's a fast-paced and captivating read that's full of suspense and unexpected plot twists.

This book takes you on a journey like no other. Elisabeth really shows she knows how to tell a story. Twist, turns, humor this book has it all. I read this book to start to finish. I do not wanna give too much away but wait until the end. This books kept me guessing. It is an easy read but a good one!

The Lost Color of Namiri is a breathtaking blend of dark fantasy and allegory, weaving a world where survival is dictated by purity and difference is a death sentence. Elisabeth Fowler’s writing is both fierce and poetic, drawing readers into the lush yet brutal jungles of Namiri. Raza, with his golden coat, is a deeply compelling leader—his struggle between belonging and defiance mirrors real-world battles for identity and justice. The novel’s mix of animal mythos and human truth makes it as thought-provoking as it is thrilling. A bold, unforgettable tale of resilience, leadership, and challenging a broken order.
